Add Sources to a Project

Upload files or text as sources to a project so Cue uses them as the factual base for every chat within it.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Supported file types: PDF, XLSX, DOCX, and TXT.
  • Indexing: Once uploaded, a source is indexed before Cue can use it.
    • This symbol  indicates the source is indexed;
    • This symbol  indicates source indexing failed.
  • You can add or delete a source anytime from the project. Changes will reflect from the subsequent chats.

Add Sources to a Project

  1. Hover over AI in the navbar to reveal the extended menu, then click Projects.
  2. Open an existing project or create a new one.
  3. Click Sources.
  4. Upload a file or add plain text as your source.



  5. Hover over the source and click to delete it from the project.
