Create a Password

Create a Password

Create a password to securely store a login for a member or contact in your workspace.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • You can create a password for yourself, or for a member or contact in your workspace.
  • The For field is only a label — it doesn't grant that person access to the password. See What is Passwords.
  • Creating a password makes you its owner, even when it's created for someone else.

How to Create a Password

  1. Go to More > Passwords from the navbar.
  2. Click + New.
  3. Choose who the password is for:
    • For you: creates the password under your own name.
    • Someone else: search and select a member or contact.
  4. Enter the password details: Title, Website URL, Username, Password, and an optional Note.
  5. Click Save Password.
