Projects is a dedicated space in Cue where you can organise chats, upload relevant documents, and set specific instructions. They give Cue the context it needs to give you more relevant, consistent responses across chats.
When you start a chat inside a project, Cue automatically applies the project's instructions and has access to the uploaded files. Every response is grounded in that knowledge keeping responses specific to your context. You don't need to re-explain context each time.
Chats outside a project have no shared context, each one starts fresh.
| Use case | Example |
|---|---|
| Ongoing work with consistent context | A project called GST Schedule with your GST rate schedule uploaded as a source— so every query, whether about a specific customer or order, is answered against your rates. |
| Repeatable tasks with a fixed style | A project called Customer Communications with instructions to always use your firm's tone and follow your standard writing structure. |
| Domain-specific assistance | A project called Company Law with the Companies Act, relevant forms, and filing deadlines uploaded as sources — so every question is answered from that body of knowledge. |
